Ket Wangi Orphanage
Ket Wangi is 22kms outside of Kisumu, Kenya close to Lake Victoria. We visited the orphanage in 2013 and 2014 and looked at how we could help.
There were fifty orphans resident at the time. Following our visit in 2013 the Foundation committed to the following:
  • Built three classrooms
  • Provided mosquito nets for all the children
  • Started, trained and equipped a football team
  • Arranged two field trips for all children
During the 2014 trip we spent a further two weeks with the children and we:

  • Painted all the newly built classrooms
  • Purchased three goats for milk
  • Funded a new cooker
  • Part funded a new kitchen
  • Funded an essential operation and aftercare for a sick child
  • Arranged an educational field trip including a boat trip on Lake Victoria
