Mgongeni Slums
Mgongeni is an urban slum area of Mombassa, Women are often the main breadwinner in the families.
We visited the area in 2014 and spent several days with the children, and people living in the area. Education is important for the future of the area and therefore we decided to invest in this element.
Working with another NGO the Foundation has provided enough bricks to enable a classroom to be built at Miche Bora Primary School in the Mgongeni area of Mombassa.
